Connection with Annie Le, murdered Yale student?
If you don't know, Annie Le was a Yale student who was murdered at work in a Lab building by a co-worker on September 8 2009. The location of this building is on AMISTAD St. in New Haven, CT in the USA. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homicide_of_Annie_Le
The Fray's "You Found Me" lyrics haunts me in reminder of this terrible event. I will list the lyrics then my interpretation.
"I found God on the corner of First in Amistad "
Annie Le was murdered in a building on a street called Amistad. She found God when she passed away and ascended into Heaven.
"Where were you when everything was falling apart? "
Where was God when she was being murdered...
"All i needed was a call that never came to the corner of First and Amistad"
All Annie needed was a rescuing call from God to spare her life, but it never came. She died.
"Lying on the floor,
surrounded, surrounded.
Why'd you have to wait?
Where were you? Where were you?
just a little late...
You found me, you found me"
The moment she was lying dead on the floor, why did God have to wait to meet her (in Heaven)? Why couldn't he save her life? He was a little late, but he met her after death.
"Losing her,
the only one who's ever known
who i am, who im not, and who i wanna be.
no way to know
how long she will be next to me... "
Annie was engaged and to be married days later after her murder. In fact, on the day her body was found (Sept 13 2009). Her fiance lost her, his love, probably the only one who ever knows who he really is. He has no idea how long he had with her, for he didn't know she would be murdered. He doesn't know how long it will be till shes next to him again.
That's about all I found in connection. But it's bizarre! What do you think?
