I heard this song last year. I had recently bought the album and I said to myself "I'll listen to Happiness." After I heard it I put it on repeat.
What was said in this song was exactly how I was feeling. I was dealing with faith issues and I was not happy at all. What I longed for was for my joy to come back.
What stood out to me was "Happiness is like the old man told me. Look for it and you'll never find it all. Let it go, live your life and leave it, then one day you'll wke up and she'll be home." And that's exactly what I did, I just left my sadness and my longings go, and I felt much better in time. It just goes to show that true happiness is not something we can have, it's just this peace given to us by God. The Fray's music has really helped me in my faith.
They are just awesome and I hope I get to see them live one day! And yes, they are Christians and they make refernces to God's presence in many of their songs.
I could go on and on about this song. It's just amazing. Really explains what happiness is. Love this band, keep writing!!!

Where do I begin? The Fray, you guys are just indescribable! You songs just mean so much to me and this is a perfect song to finish the album on.. This song makes me feel so many emotions and just WOW. Thank you!!

It's a great song. Not only is the tune catchy and relaxing, the lyrics are meaningful and give off a message with a good point: Happiness just comes to you, and when it does, you have to accept it in any and all forms.

The irony of the title somehow fits the song perfectly. Hauntingly beautiful and I got chills this song is so beautiful.

The songs you put forth are the majestic highlight for a lifetime, If you lived in this song, your life would defiantly NOT be perfect. But life is never perfect, nor is it in a song, but some times I put life to a song. Just to see if that song would be a #1 some day. (or if it would sell NO copies at all) lol

Such a great song. The lyrics are absolutely perfect and its such a relaxing and awesome song. I can't stop listening to it, and I'm finally glad I have it! I remember hearing this the first time live over a year ago at DTE in Michigan, and i fell in love. Keep it up guys! Thanks for the amazing album!
